A Tale To Tell & Remember

I'm very much inspired by the words of Thomas L. Friedman in his book "The World Is Flat" which renders about the influence of bloggers in this new age. I want to keep the highest integrity and honesty in posting my words to the world. This blog act as a testimony to my alacrity of sharing information with the borderless world. Hope we can share a high regards of veracity and chivalry with this blog because that's why it is here. So help me God!

Eid in Labok, Machang - Kelantan (Part-1)

I went back to my village (on the 31st of December 2006) which was located at Labok, Machang, Kelantan for the celebration of Eid just like every other year. This year the celebration was jovial like usual for we had to slay two (2) cows for the Eid.

Eid is celebrate as a testament of the Muslim’s faith on their virtue symbolic of the willingness of Ishmael to sacrifice his life by his father, Abraham instructed by God via Arch-angle Gabriel testing their faith to the Most Merciful. Every year Muslim in the whole world celebrate Eid back home while those who are well-off are encouraged to go for pilgrimage to Holy Land of Mecca.

Kelantan is the state which performed the most celebrated Eid among the states of Malaysia. And that includes me and my family in Labok, Machang, Kelantan.
