Kampung (not so) Bharu, Kuala Lumpur - Part 1

Kampung Bharu
2nd Febuari 2007 – When talking about spending government money for the sake of the “rakyat” lets not stray ourselves by buying unnecessary assets for the feudal lord. Just like the demise of the early great civilization was that when the feudal lord start squandering people’s money for the sake of the selected few.

From the eyes of the Kuala Lumpur people, we can’t run away from the fact that Kampung Bharu is badly needed a major overhaul. Yes for the shortest term Kampung Bharu is very important for the daily life of the central Malay who lived at the heart of Kuala Lumpur. It must not be touch at all. But the reality is that it began to turn out being a ghetto such as during the Nazi’s occupation of Poland.

Kampung Bharu is permeating unnecessary crimes and certainly not the picture we want to show to the outsiders what Kuala Lumpur is all about. If you ask me whether or not Kampung Bharu folks wants a development or not? That is out of the question. Many people will detest on jeopardizing Kampung Bharu. But still, it is here where we should make unpopular decision for the goodness of the “rakyat”. To dare is to do.
