A Tale To Tell & Remember

I'm very much inspired by the words of Thomas L. Friedman in his book "The World Is Flat" which renders about the influence of bloggers in this new age. I want to keep the highest integrity and honesty in posting my words to the world. This blog act as a testimony to my alacrity of sharing information with the borderless world. Hope we can share a high regards of veracity and chivalry with this blog because that's why it is here. So help me God!

The Clash of Civilizations

6 February 2009 - I've finished reading Samuel Huntington book on the Clash of Civilizations. It was a very academic book indeed which discuss on the importance of understanding a culture upon any injection of a new policy/ thinking either it be liberalism, moralism, human rights or even market economies even though market economies currently are accepted by all culture except the hardliners - Maoist, Wahabbism.

According to Huntington thesis, there is no way for the world to be universal. This thesis would be a testament either the American dreams is valid or merely rhetoric upon waiting for it to be Westernized again (and to do so it would extricate the Anglo-Saxons race to be their mutual allies). All the world hopes of liberalism, annihilating racism are left on how the Americans view their world, starting perhaps with the influx of the Latinos from the South.
